Wedge Fitting

Wedges live closer to the turf than any other club in the bag, which makes bounce and grind more important than shaft bend — we fit both, and gap them off your pitching wedge.

What We Capture

Attack Angle Decides the Grind

We measure your attack angle and low-point location on real turf, not just a mat, since the two surfaces behave differently under a wedge. That reading drives the bounce and grind recommendation far more than any generic loft chart could.

Gapping is checked against your pitching wedge loft, so the whole wedge set steps evenly instead of leaving an awkward yardage between clubs.

What Changes in a Wedge Fitting

Bounce Angle

Higher bounce suits steeper attack angles and softer turf; lower bounce suits shallower attack angles and firmer conditions.

Sole Grind

Grind shapes how the sole interacts with the turf on open-face and tight-lie shots — checked against your actual short-game tendencies, not a generic recommendation.

Loft Gapping

We map gaps from your pitching wedge through lob wedge so distances step evenly rather than clustering or leaving a hole in the yardage ladder.

Sessions run 45–60 minutes and include real turf testing, not just mat contact.
